ZURU

ZURU is making room for a much bigger operation in Shenzhen.

The company will open a new China headquarters inside the China Resources Tower (known colloquially as Spring Bamboo) in the city’s Nanshan district, occupying eight floors and roughly 345,000 square feet. Teams are expected to begin moving in at the start of 2027.

The office has capacity for around 3,000 employees, with room for ZURU to add more floors as the business grows.

ZURU Toys, ZURU Tech, and ZURU Edge will each have teams in the building, bringing design, engineering, merchandising, software, automation, finance, talent, and other functions together in one location.

“We’ve spent 22 years building a rock star team in China, and they’re at the heart of everything we do,” said Nick Mowbray, Co-Founder and CEO, ZURU. “Giving them an even more world-class environment to collaborate, create and keep pushing every tiny detail forward is something we’re hugely excited about. The next few years are shaping up to deliver huge growth, and this is the home that growth will be built from.”

ZURU has maintained offices in China since the early 2000s. The company says its business is now on track to account for approximately 1% of Shenzhen’s GDP in 2027.

The Shenzhen project sits alongside continued investment in factories, offices, and showrooms supporting ZURU’s global operations.
